Knowing very little, and a willingness to learn, seems to be an acceptable state of mind.
The Details: Tipis, Photo Shed, Taconic Hikes
We start the day early with warm-up exercises and meditation, before a morning hike. After a hearty lunch, we discuss images and take photographs to practice our intention and commitment. At the end of the day, we gather to cook dinner over open fire, then finish under the stars with a review of the day’s work.
The Taconic Mountains
The Upland Retreat is held about 100 miles north of New York City, in the southern part of the Taconic Mountains.
You can travel by train or car from New York City. The closest airport is Albany, NY, about one hour away by car.
